Insurance products are not a deposit or other obligation of, or guaranteed by the bank or any affiliate of the bank and are not insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation or any other agency of the United States, the bank, or any affiliate of the bank. The bank may not condition the extension of credit you are applying for on whether you purchase an insurance product from the bank, an affiliate of the bank, or on your agreement not to obtain, or a prohibition on your obtaining, an insurance product from an entity not affiliated with the bank.
A 1% international transaction fee will be assessed on all transactions where the merchant country differs from the country of the card issuer. The converted transaction amount will be shown separately from the transaction fee on your periodic billing statement. This fee will be assessed on all international purchases, credit vouchers, and cash disbursements, and included in the Annual Percentage Rate calculation for the applicable statement cycle, regardless if you pay the entire credit purchase balance within the grace period. We include this transaction fee when computing finance charges, thus incurring fees results in the APR exceeding the standard rate on the billing cycle on which fees appear. The Daily Periodic Rate remains at the standard rate that has been disclosed.
This information about the costs of the card described here is accurate as of January 2007.
